Biography

My name is Katie and my Kindermusik classes are held in Forest Row, East Grinstead and Lingfield.
I have enclosed below some information about my training and professional back- ground and how I came to be teaching Kindermusik.

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a professional dance school. So from the age of ten, alongside my academic education, I spent the days dancing, playing instruments and learning music.

I played the piano and the clarinet, joining the school orchestra, for numerous concerts.
Dancing became my first priority so I qualified to teach before embarking on a professional dancing career spanning 10 years.

Once I started to teach I immediately realised that I absolutely loved it. The amazing feeling of accomplishment that comes when a child (or adult) realises that they can achieve something, be it a move or song that they have been working on, is nothing but rewarding. I also found that I had amazing patience to explore and discover different and new ways to approach the learning process.

My world came across Kindermusik once I had had my children.
I was really looking for something to start up in the area that would involve teaching children and fit around the school day.
Perfect… Kindermusik sprang out at me when looking through the Family Grapevine.
An organised, well thought out program of introducing music and movement to the young child. Exciting themes with first class instruments and wonderful activities to bring out the imagination in all of us and give us the opportunity to discover the benefits of an all round development that Kindermusik is geared to do.

A brand new hall with excellent, parking, good facilities and a friendly, spacious café.

Village: Newborn to 18 months = Monday: 11.00 – 11.45
Our Time: 18 months to 3 years = Monday: 10.00 – 10.45
Imagine That: 3 – 5 year olds = Friday: 2.00 -2.45pm


Forest Row
Forest Row Community Centre, Hartfield Road, Forest Row
Good parking, friendly organisation, good facilities.

Village: Newborn – 18 months = Thursday: 10.45- 11.30
Our Time: 18 months – 3 years = Thursday: 9.45 – 10.30

Imagine That: 3 -5 year olds = Thursday 3.30pm
