" Impressive training"....

" I am finding it unbelievably fascinating not only about the development for the children but looking at myself too. I am so pleased I picked Kindermusik. I feel the strength of the company and the enthusiasm jumping out of every aspect of the course... I'm inspired every minute of every day. Thank you." R Ffrench- Lynch, educator in training.

"This is a fantastic course" - S Sharrock, newly licensed educator

"It's great having this level of support. As a newly licensed educator you have so many questions and concerns, I find it absolutely amazing that I can ask a question and often receive an answer within minutes - where else does that happen?!"  S Sibbald, newly licensed educator

Is it Right For You?

The following profiles are composites of actual Kindermusik educators. They will give you a glimpse into what Kindermusik means to very diverse types of people who have joined the Kindermusik community of educators. They all have a common commitment to sharing music with children and supporting one another in this work. Which one most closely reflects your situation and goals?

Early Childhood Educator
Katherine teaches at a pre-school three mornings a week. Her degree is in early childhood education. She also helps with the children's choir at her church. The mother of two teens, Katherine wants to teach Kindermusik one or two days per week. She feels this is the perfect time in her life to expand her career yet keep the pre-school job she loves.

Public School Teacher
After teaching music in the public schools for eight years, Elizabeth wanted a career change. Married and the mother of a toddler, she has a degree. in music education. Realizing the demand for Kindermusik in her community, she began offering classes in the evenings. Her goal: to start her own Kindermusik studio and hire others to work for her.

Music Therapist
With her own private practice, Elaine wanted to offer group classes to help integrate her clients with children who are non-disabled. She found Kindermusik's focus on process rather than performance matched her own approach. And it's an effective way to supplement her practice income.

Piano Teacher
Debbie is a well-established piano teacher, teaching in the afternoons and evenings. She wants to expand her programme  by adding morning Kindermusik classes. She's looking forward to gaining additional piano students from children who have developed a love of music through Kindermusik. She's even planning to hire additional educators.

Stay-at-Home Mum
A flutist through secondary school, Michelle quit her accounting job to spend more time with her two sons. She heard that another Kindermusik educator wanted to hire a part-time teacher. That's just right for Michelle, who wants a limited teaching schedule so she can still do voluntary work  and be at home with her toddler.

And there are many more—paediatric nurses, choir directors, nursery teachers, speech therapists, retirees—all who have joined the Kindermusik community to make a difference in children's lives through music!
