How to Get Started

If you feel you are ready to discuss more about becoming a Kindermusik educator in the UK/ Ireland  we'd love to hear from you. Here are your first steps:

1. Call the UK Area developer ( Vanessa Webb)  on 01276 62407 to get acquainted. Or e mail on vanessa@kindermusik.co.uk.  I will be able to answer any questions you have.  Following this  I can   send you  the Kindermusik Opportunities video/DVD which  explains the benefits of becoming an educator.



2. If Kindermusik is for you, I will order you a  Fundamentals of Kindermusik® training course. This must be ordered via the UK  Area Developer  with a credit card. At this time you should confirm your start date for training* (Students usually join the next available learning group but can postpone their start date if specified upfront). Fundamentals costs only $399 which is around £225 at today's exchange rate (NB plus shipping to the UK of around £25 and VAT of £20). 



3. You'll hear from a Kindermusik mentor.
   She will  communicate  your training in more depth and  tell you about a vocal review made in the early part of the training. She'll also answer any questions about your Fundamentals course and give you more details about the interactive, personalised Kindermusik training process.
   
   
4. You're on your way to becoming a Kindermusik educator.
   Training will normally commence approximately two weeks from your date of registration! You will be assigned to an online learning group of students learning together supervised by a Kindermusik expert mentor.  Fundamentals training consists of a mix of observing videos, reading training manuals, participating in online learning groups, discussion forums, chat sessions and some written exercises. The course take 15 weeks to complete, with licensing occurring after week 10. The annual license fee is $85 ( ie around. £50).

* note there is a cancellation fee of ca. £40 if you need to change your specified start date for training

5. You'll get full support from Kindermusik International and Kindermusik UK
   As part of your training you will get help with all aspects of business start up and development to ensure your business is a success.
   Once licensed you will join the Kindermusik UK e mail group, your class details and personal profile will be advertised on the UK website, you'll gain access to the Kindermusik UK and International educator lounges and invited to UK educators training seminars. You will benefit from  closely networking with the growing community of educators throughout the UK and Ireland.
